Riding a ship without a sail

From last twenty-five years...  I am riding a ship without a sail...  And imagine me standing on the deck,  With tears in my eyes...  I see nothing,  But blue skies.  My hands being red,  But nothing been said.  The holes in my shirt,  That my mom gave.  She couldn't stand anything.  So, she just waved...  The cut on my knee,  That finally stopped hurting.  The beam of light,  That's no longer burning.  Imagine me, standing on the deck With no one to talk...  My feet all bruised up I can't even walk.  From last twenty three years I am missing my Father.  Though I am sure, he must be having fun.  I can't even phone him .  I don't even have one.

My first day at school

Today was the first day of my school. A 7 year old child came to me in morning and said "Welcome Sir". That is the best morning you can ever have. I cannot even explain it to myself that how a person as introvert as me can love standing in front of class filled with children, children screaming, dancing, and making their best efforts to annoy the hell out of you. I reached my school, I joined my duty,  and was given 5th standard as our incharge sir thought that I would not be able to handle too young children.  I entered my class and was welcomed with the traditional hymn, "Gooooooood Mooooooorning Teeeaacher".  Before today day I had never seen in a Municipal school. 90% of students were not in their school dress, and many were looking like they barely had taken a shower today. Four children were fighting over seats, one on the front bench was staring me like anything. Few didn't even notice me.  Well, it was attendance time and we decided to have a twist today...

Hello Ashu This is me, your best friend, your own self. How are u doing?  Wait I know how you are. Isn't it stupid. I mean just look at your face. Look at your fingers. You are writing a letter for yourself by yourself. Tell me one thing, how are you going to give it to you, by post or by hand. Well! Leave it. BTW Happy Birthday. I know not many of your friends remembered the date. But I do. Love you. Finally you spent another year doing nothing. Well done. Keep it up. Tell me one thing. You wasted this year by yourself. No one did it on your behalf. Then why are you even thinking of it? Are you sad? Really? Oh. Don't tell me. You just smiled like an egg-head idiot while listening to holy chants of "Happy Birthday to you...bla...bla...God don't give a damn to you...bla...bla...". You can't be feeling small.
